I don’t know about you but I’ve come across such a statement a number of times over the years. I’m willing to admit to ownership of a somewhat grating personality. A certain failure to think before speaking has without doubt cost me occasionally.
While I personally have demonstrated the poor manners to earn my own enmities, I draw the line with unearned anger or resentment. In whatever form it takes; racism, sexism, ageism or any of the other isms and beyond, anyone with the “power” to do something is, in my mind, honor-bound to do so. It does however generally seem those individuals harbor a different opinion on the matter. Such is life.

Unrighteous fury shatters thick stone
Arrogant monarch, swiftly dethroned
Innocent words are transformed through tone
Relentlessly tears what once was home
Invective’s causation scarcely known
Deep within echo death rattle moans
Skewered through muscle, tissue and bone
All which is left is truth to be shown.
I would never attest to being a shining example for morality. That said, I treat everyone with precisely the same level of general disinterest. Now THAT is equality.:)
Please everyone enjoy a truly wonderful day. Textbook warm Spring morning around here and I hope the Sun burns just as brightly for you. Even if it’s cloudy, night-time, raining etc. always is it still somewhere up there. Remember.
