Good morrow faithful denizens! Have you ever had your brain get a hold of something a little too strongly? Whether perhaps you’re worried about something, regretting a past action, even as dumb as having a song stuck in your head? It happens to us all. Well, to me anyway. For many years I allowed this negativity free range before at last learning that it was not necessary to do so.
I called this “Popcorn” because that’s what my brain reminds me off when it’s going off. Pieces exploding into puffy existence all around. March 27, 2018.
Obsessive thoughts are put away
When you demand they do not stay
We are the masters of our brains
Set your own rules for home terrain
We are not all which we think
Don’t be driven past the brink
The power rests within your mind
Be determined and please kind.
For many years I was ubiquitously tortured by my own thoughts before finally realizing that I am not them. Bad or even evil thoughts and their parallel deeds are not equivalent. We are not accountable for them. Just because they come from us does not mean they ARE us. Please try to remember that.
Unless you are reading/ watching “Minority Report” in which case of all of the preceding information is wildly apocryphal.
I am relatively sure I saw a boat go by last night with two of every animal. That said, I’m still optimistic of our chances for survival. Go be someone’s white dove.
