Good evening all! Or, considering my quasi-international audience, good whatever period of day at which you currently find yourself!
Do you recall the balls in the air I was stressed over yesterday? Great news! They all landed directly upon the ground. In Hawaii. Where lava then promptly rolled over them and cooled. I believe Yaks are currently nesting in the area and once per day a large troupe of dogs comes by just to urinate upon the scene. That is just how life goes sometimes. You do not necessarily need to make a large error or even any at all in order to muck things up. That said, without clarifying in any way, I am willing to take a small share of the blame for my own scenario. But seriously, that dog troupe? They’re just a bunch of assholes. (Due to some confusion I wish now to clarify that these hounds are in no way representative of any actual person, just NPC’s within my poorly constructed metaphor.)
I wrote this a few days ago while still considering options.

Catalyzing change is often hard
Either as coins or a life in shards
To step off a cliff takes some courage
Some shout you on, others discourage
Ultimately choice is always yours
Install shag carpet or hardwood floors?
Give consideration its due course
Still, if you feel your hand’s being forced
Regret doesn’t often visit those
Who carefully thought before they chose.
One day perhaps I will learn to follow my own advice. As much as I like to consider myself a pragmatic and cold person I’m not at all. Most irksome. In reality, I wear my heart on my sleeve and then some. I hate it but it IS what makes me good at many of the things I do. Stupid double-edged everything!
That’s probably enough whining for me today. I wish you all well! Everyone. I hold no grudges, ever. Terrible habit should I ever regain use of my soul.
