Point of order; there is not sufficient room for both a laptop and dog upon my lap. Naturally, as opposed to disallowing the dog’s presence, I’m hunched in some odd gargoylian (that could be a word) pose, typing on a queer diagonal instead.
The context of today’s piece is not easy to explain. There are a few different levels but it’s like the powers out and the stairs are broken. Just can’t seem to get there explanation wise. No matter! Chose your own adventure my friends! Please turn to page 37.
“White Rabbit”, May 14, 2018.
Whispers and wood smoke dispersed by a wind
Made pure as the heart that has never sinned
Crisp evening air chokes diluted sources
Out its path the untainted well forces
Its wake leaves little stagnant residue
Searching yields nothing except the untrue
Weary and burdened by this sudden grace
Empty yet full all the time is this place.
Once again I favor the last two lines. If only every couplet could be as good!
You are all the most precious of treasure. Not just for stopping by though that is beyond greatly appreciated. Rather we’re alive, we have time, we are love. Go share! Unless you’re afflicted with that anti-biotic resistant super gonorrhea I was reading about. Maybe keep that one to yourself if at all possible.
May you all thrive! (Again, except for the A.B.R.S.G….)
One love!
-Alex Blaikie
