“Skinnamar-Ink”

Well hello dear delectable morsels, How in the world has no one gobbled you up yet? Analogously of course, there is no cannibalism here. Notwithstanding good ideas and all around sanity, naturally.

Thank you, my friends, for you attendance and all those who go beyond even that. May you receive blessings in equal proportion to my own.

Moving to business, today’s piece is certainly interesting. It perhaps would work better as a comical Gary Larson visual than a vague and downlifting homage to inoperable despair. For the record if uplifting is word it is inexcusable that my selection is technically improper. KAHN!! *shakes fist skyward in vigorous fashion

“Skinnamar-Ink”, November 5, 2020.

Tentacles inescapable

Wrapped tight around your mind

So completely incapable

Of severing this bind

The suction cups firmly attached

And legs are knotted too

Any assistance yet dispatched

Lost in some distant queue

Fastened yet still with many locks

These tangled, braided arms

Protected better than Fort Knox

Summoning poignant harms

Finally an enormous safe

The cherry for the peak

Heavy metal’s pleasure to chafe

Both neck and outlook bleak.

————————————————————————————————————————————————-Here’s another question, why is impregnable a common word but not pregnable? Imagine the pun opportunities for simultaneously loose/ fertile women and their pregnability… I think we’re misogimissing out here. My sincere apologies to ladies everywhere. Actually I’m going to go ahead and issue a blanket apology to everyone for that one. Besides, it’s supposed to get chilly again soon.

I enquired of Mr. Wolf and it is indeed lunch time so I will bid farewell, wishing all much joy and limited encumbrance. Be swell, y’all.

  1. Seems you’re in quite a bind with this squid. I have the same problem with a spider.

  3. You owe two apologies actually. Don’t you know that the word ‘ladies’ is now frowned upon. It should be women apparently (but I am still secretly pleased when addressed as a lady, especially on one of my dress-down days).

  5. A pleasure to read. Thanks. Curious as to your blog name, apart from the obvious – your humour makes me think that sobriety might be a reality?
